Rev. Harold L. Hauser M.A., M.Div., L.C.P.C.,
L.M.F.T. Director
He started his professional career in 1968 working as a Juvenile
Probation Officer in Iowa. After eight years he was promoted to
Chief Juvenile Probation Officer of the 6th Judicial, Cedar Rapids,
Iowa. During that period he attending the University of Northerrn
Iowa where he received a Bachlor's Degree in Sociology and a
Master's Degree in Counseling. In 1978 he enrolled at Northern
Baptist Theological Seminary and attained a Master's Degree in
Divinity, with emphasis on Pastoral Care and Counseling in 1981. He was a Counselor
at Sunny Ridge Family Center, Wheaton, Il.., for five years. While there, he was the
psychologist for an In-Patient Treatment Program. He was also an Adoption
specialist. He started Southside Christian Counseling Center in 1986, as he
believed that a Christ centered approach to counseling was more effective at creating
wholeness. Southside Christian Counseling Center continues to not only see great
growth in the facilty and staff, but also in the lives that have been changed and
challenged through the ministry there.
Elizabeth Kelley-Rhodes M.A. L.P.C. N.C.C.
Elizabeth is a graduate of Roosevelt University in Chicago where she
received her Masters in Mental Health Counseling. Her experience
includes counseling with individuals, couples, premarital couples,
marital and family counseling. Elizabeth provides counseling for a
wide array of issues including, but not limited, to depression,
society/panic disorder, difficulties with interpersonal relationships as
well as life transitions and adjustments. She also has previous
experience working with children having developmental and physical disabilities.
Kim Snow, ED.D. Candidate, L.P.C., N.C.C., C.F.T., R.M.T.
has been a licensed professional counselor since 2000 and has vast
experience working with adults, couples, families, teens and children. Kim has
worked in various therapeutic settings, from private practice to family agencies
and a cancer support center. Kim also has experience training and supervising
community, marriage and family and school counselors. Kim was also involved
in developing training videos for a multitude of issues, including child therapy,
parenting, couples therapy, health behavioral issues, Imago therapy, spiritual
issues, older adults and specialized populations. Kim sees counseling clients as her calling and counsels from the heart. Her areas of of specialty include grief and loss, transitions and adjustments, holistic counseling, developmental issues, multicultural issues, women's issues, parenting, divorce recovery, couples counseling, spiritual issues, health issues, working with children and teens, self esteem issues, depression, empowerment, stress management and energy healing. Kim's theoretical orientation is holistic. She sees most physical, spiritual and emotional issues as having a mind-body-spirit connection and works with clients by exploring all aspects of their lives. Kim helps clients to find balance within their busy lives. She views clients from a strength based approach and believes that all clients have the power and answers within. Her job is to help clients to access their own inner wisdom and knowledge and use the strengths and gifts that they have within.
Rev. Leon McClimans M.A., M.Div., L.C.P.C.
Leon is an ordained minister and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor.
He is a member of the American Counseling Association. Leon received his Bachelors degree
from Olivet Nazarene University and has a Master of Arts in Counseling from Governors State
University and a Master of Divinity from Asbury Theological Seminary. Leon works with families,
couples and individuals. Some of his experience in working with couples comes from being a
pastor in a local church. Leon enjoys working with children who are dealing with problems such
as ADHD and Oppositional and Conduct difficulties. He is also experienced in working with depression, bi-polar and anxiety disorders in adults. Leon is availabe to do premarital and marital counseling. Leon is also trained in using cognitive and solution based approaches that are brief and focused on specific problems. Leon has also been trained as a Stephen Minister.

A mature Christian who has been a Licensed Professional
Counselor in the state of Illinois (since December 2003). She currently holds
a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Illinois in Urbana -
Champaign (May 1991); a M.A. of Religion in Urban Ministry from Trinity
Evangelical Divinity School (May 1999); and a M.A. in Clinical Psychology
from Wheaton College (August 2003), where she served as the Clinical Program Chaplain of the Psychology Department (August 2002 - May 2003). Furthermore, Ms. Wilkerson has been providing pastoral/ spiritual guidance counseling for the past 9 years and clinical counseling for the past 4-½ years. She has experience in the areas of: crisis intervention, critical incident debriefing, case management, treatment planning, psychosocial and diagnostic assessments, parenting training, outpatient child, adolescent, adult, couple, marital and family therapies, anger management counseling, domestic violence evaluations and co-facilitation of domestic violence treatment groups. Moreover, Ms. Wilkerson has been a licensed minister and evangelist since July 23, 1995 and an ordained minister in the Church of God (Cleveland, TN.) Since Oct. 2003. Currently, she is a Billy Graham Urban Missionary (since August 2002) through Wheaton College. Her favorite hobbies are mime, writing poetry and the performing arts. Lastly, Ms. Wilkerson is a part-time adjunct faculty member at Trinity International University where she teaches psychology and Christian counseling courses in the REACH Undergraduate Program.

When you call the Center Linda will probably be the first friendly voice that
you will hear. She will be very happy to listen to your concerns and help you
with your needs. If you have questions about fees, insurance, or scheduling
appointments or any other questions, she will be glad to help. We understand
that some phone calls are difficult to make and the last thing we need on the
other end of the phone is an unpleasant person who doesn't have the time
or patience to listen and be helpful. Linda will make your appointment
scheduling a pleasant experience and answer all your questions gracefully.
